MediaWiki and OTRS Integration

To improve knowledge management, we provide the integration between OTRS and MediaWiki, an open source web platform that allows creation and editing documents in a collaborative, simple and effective manner. It also allows editing of these documents to be made in several ways, as through the synthesis of MediaWiki, HTML or some addon installed.

Aiming for greater performance and ease of use of wiki pages, is possible that one page to be interconnected to another, using a link in CamelCase words as default.

The integration developed by Complemento enables you to view the wiki pages through the OTRS interface:

In the printscreen above, we can see the "Complemento" client homepage, with the information contained on the Wiki page.

On the right side, in the Wiki box, it's possible to set up some fields, such as ticket service, customer ID, and even the ticket description. In addition to this shortcut to the Wiki, it's possibile to configure any of these fields to appear on the Wiki Page.

In the figure below, it was configured for the Wiki Page to display a Wiki page corresponding to the Ticket Service.
